Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Simply Sign (“Simply Sign”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website and services. We are committed to handling your data in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018, “PDPL”) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

1. Who we are

Simply Sign is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at simplysignbh@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • Demo requests: first and last name, work email, organisation name, industry, and any goals you share.
  • Contact form: your name, email, company (optional), and message.
  • Account data (for organisations using the platform): name, email, role, and organisation, used to provide and secure your account.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamps) needed to operate and protect the service.

The live demo’s speech recognition runs in your browser; we do not record or store your microphone audio on our servers.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

We use your data to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide demos, operate and secure the platform for organisations that sign up, and improve our service. Our legal bases are your consent, our legitimate interest in responding to you and running the service, and the performance of any agreement with your organisation.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Simply Sign, acting on our instructions, including our email/SMTP provider (for delivering form submissions), a third-party form-delivery service (Web3Forms) used only as a fallback if our own form delivery is temporarily unavailable, our hosting providers, and Supabase (our database and authentication provider). Some providers may process data outside Bahrain; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and demo data only as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship, and account data for as long as your organisation uses the service, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).

6. Your rights

Under the PDPL and GDPR you may have the right to access your data, correct it, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and request a copy of the data you gave us. To exercise any of these, email simplysignbh@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law requires.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Simply Sign is currently offered as a pilot while we continue to harden the platform.

8. Children

Our services are intended for organisations and adults, and are not directed at children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. We will change the “Last updated” date above when we do.
